Tax Hub turns accounting information from Trade Control into reporting views and prepared data for statutory reporting. It is a compliance workspace built on the accounting record, not a second accounting system.
Tax Hub supports:
VAT and sole-trader reporting are complete supported capabilities. Company accounts and Corporation Tax are the principal product priority.
The Cash Statement explains the operational accounting position. Tax Hub projects that accounting evidence into the structures required for a reporting regime, checks configuration, reconciles the projected figures and makes prepared information available for review.
The stages are distinct:
A valid preview does not prove that an authority has received or accepted a filing.
Companies use Business Tax for Corporation Tax and Accounts for profit and loss, balance sheet and validation. The company projection also supports preparation of statutory accounts, Corporation Tax computation, CT600 and Companies House packages.
Sole traders use Business Tax for cumulative MTD Income Tax reporting. Their initialization template determines whether expenses are projected as a consolidated MIN total or the detailed STD categories. A quarterly update is cumulative and the fourth update is not an annual tax return.
Both business types can use VAT when VAT registration is enabled.
Tax Hub can prepare, validate, reconcile and preview populated information for its supported operations. Live authorization and transmission to HMRC or Companies House, authority acceptance or rejection, retries, fraud-prevention headers and official submission history are not yet available.
Corporation Tax computation-taxonomy assets and Companies House Filing TIS validation assets remain outstanding external dependencies. The corresponding packages are available for preparation and preview, but must not be treated as production-sendable filings.
