Subject

A Subject is the core record used to represent:

A namespace is the path that shows where a Subject sits in the structure.

Subject classes

The main Subject classes are:

Default child

A default child is the preferred child for a parent in a specific namespace relationship.

Default belongs to the relationship, not to the Subject globally.

Common outcomes

No Subjects found

The current filter returned no matching root Subjects.

No enquiry actions

The selected Subject does not support enquiry actions in the current context, or no suitable Subject is selected.

Remove is blocked

The selected relationship or closure cannot be removed safely.

Typical reasons include:

Delete is blocked

The selected Subject or closure cannot be deleted because validation failed.

Address delete is blocked

The selected address is referenced by one or more projects.
